Super Horror Mazes

While wandering around in a haunted maze last night at my son's cub scout Halloween party,  I was reminded of the fun series of maze books by Vladimir Koziakin from my own childhood. Super Horror Mazes (Tempo Books, 1980) fits in perfectly with our theme this month, full of monsters, screaming women, and devil worship. As a kid, I remember thinking the artwork here was a bit flimsy, but looking at it now it almost seems to possess a wild, punkish underground illustrative zine vibe that certainly continues to prove influential, even on today's alternative / indie art scene.
